The two-storey "Bar" is conveniently located next to the revolving door in the hotel's main entrance hall.

Exquisite inlay work in the Bar's ceiling fits in magnificently with its front door that was rescued from a 16th century church. Antelope hide on the walls rounds off the atmosphere of this very special bar.

A quaint spiral staircase is used to reach the cosy second floor. Here our guests can relax on a backseat taken from a vintage Rolls-Royce, and enjoy the splendid view over Hamburg's Inner Alster Lake. Smoking in this bar is permitted.

The staff are naturally the most important fixtures and fittings in this class of bar. For nearly 20 years Santo Pupillo and his Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Bar team have provided expert advice about drinks, as well as having a discreet ear for their international guests. Over the years Sir Peter Ustinov, Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Costner (to mention but a few!) have graced the Bar's unique atmosphere.

The Jahreszeiten Bar not only serves all traditional and international cocktails, but also stocks a luxurious selection of spirits, including a few rare tipples such as a thirty year-old Ardberg Malt Whisky and a 1934 Sandeman port wine.

Try our varied range of caviar dishes such as "potato mousse with Oscietra caviar" or "salmon à la maison served with fried grated potatoes and Oscietra caviar," rounded off with a refreshing glass of Champagne.
